We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Graduate Design Engineer to join the engineering office team based in Clydebank. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate with strong SolidWorks skills and an interest in design processes, drafting, and continuous improvement.
Graduate Design Engineer Job Overview- Creating and modifying technical drawings and templates using SolidWorks
- Assisting senior engineers with design and drafting tasks
- Supporting the development and implementation of design processes
- Helping to introduce and improve drawing standards and documentation systems
- Collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure design accuracy and clarity
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
- Proficient in SolidWorks - experience creating 2D drawings and 3D models is essential
- Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Salary dependent on experience (Likely £25k-£30k)
