Murray McIntosh is currently recruiting for an Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a contract basis for a client of ours as detailed below.This role requires on site working 12 hours days Monday - Friday as a standard week. This project will require use of staircases and a working height of 35 metres.

Training will be provided to work at heights with harness training.

We require candidates who hold current SC clearance. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and management of the hands-on project resource for all mechanical project activities.
  • Overseeing 5 crane engineers who will carry out the execution of schedule of works.
  • Act as a link between installation engineers/fitters and the delivery manager
  • Report issues, risks & requirements in a timely & effective manner
  • Support physical installation to ensure adherence to the schedule when risks or issues occur during the on site installation works.
  • Signing off on installation works

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years + experience in similar role
  • Mechanical degree or equivalent qualification
