Are you an aspiring CAD Technician with SolidWorks experience looking to play a big part in a close-knit and family feel company, where you will be given ongoing on-the job training from a dedicated team to further your design skills?
Are you looking to work for a long-standing company, in a local and long-term permanent role with an early finish on Fridays?
In this office-based role you will be working in a close-knit team of 3 to create 3D models of sheet metal parts for use in commercial vehicles. You will be working on multiple fast-moving projects at once, learning as you go and developing your skills by shadowing the Production Manager.
Founded over 20 years ago, this design and manufacturing company are leaders in their niche field, working with both small local businesses and large PLCs. Due to continued growth in the marketplace they require a CAD Technician to come onboard to keep up with their high demand.
This role would suit somebody who has experience using SolidWorks looking to join a friendly and stable company in a great environment where they will be continuously developed.
The Role:
- Creating 3D models of sheet metal parts for use in commercial vehicles
- Working in a close-knit team of 3, shadowing the Production Manager
- Creating bill of materials and attending production and sales meetings
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm, finish at 2:30pm on Friday
