Position : Master Vehicle Technician

Employer : Specialist Audi, BMW & Porsche service centre

Gross annual salary : £32,000 to £38,000 (depending on designation)

UK location : Glasgow, Scotland

Working days / hours : up to 40 / 48 hours within a 5 day week

Prospects : Bonuses, promotion, recognition and reward for outstanding performance and commitment

You will be familiar and well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles. You will accurately and systematically complete complex fault diagnosis and carryout technical preparation and maintenance, repair or replace parts and carry out final checks to manufacturers after sales service specification.

Duties and responsibilities as summarised above include;

Carrying out vehicle health checks and identify areas of concern

Provide comprehensive reports with expert advice and recommendations for customers

Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service

Perform technical repair work in accordance with established and documented procedures to brand manufacturers standards

Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high-quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements

Ensure correct materials, tools and measuring devices are used

Record details of work including all hours worked and material usage

Ensure vehicle safety standards have been complied with

Ensure vehicles are protected and kept safe during service and repair

Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date

Contribute to local and companywide process improvements and innovations

Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:

Eligibility to live and work in UK

Experience at Master / Senior Technician level working with high performance German luxury cars (ie. Audi, BMW, Porsche) as per sponsor requirement and

UKVI Skilled Worker visa criteria

The knowledge and capability of working to the highest quality standards withstate-of-the art equipment and technology

Be familiar with brand manufacturers technical data and instruction

In addition you should also have and be :

Achievement and results driven and have an eye for detail

Critical thinking and excellent on the spot problem solving skills

Confident and able to communicate well with customers

Able to work well with others

Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
