Accountant

We are working with a fantastic client based near Coalville who is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their team. We are looking for a Junior and a Senior Accountant for this growing business.

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial operations. This is an on-site position that offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Prepare and manage financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank transactions and monitor cash flow using Xero software.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Ideally have AAT in training or similar qualification
• Proficiency in Xero software (essential).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
