MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Working hours:                 Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm (hybrid working offered after 3 months)We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our friendly team.  You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive management accounts and support the business with strong analysis and decision making reports. If you are data-driven, have a desire to make a difference, be a good team player and thrive in a busy working environment, then this could be the perfect role for you!Role Specific Responsibilities
  • Production of accurate management accounts
  • Strong analysis to aid decision making
  • Review monthly performance with directors and department heads on their numbers
  • Production of board reports
  • Production of financial review packs
  • Production of accurate weekly flash reports
  • Ensuring Balance Sheets are updated monthly and supported to aid auditability
  • Ensuring recharge methodologies are robust and supported by documented assumptions
  • Ensuring intercompany transactions are recorded and are eliminated upon consolidation
  • Ensuring the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes follows and achieves the desired timescales
  • Assisting the finance function to achieve its goals, ambitions and objectives and become best in class
Strengths, Skills and Competencies
  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant role 
  • Ideally Part qualified or in the final stages of CIMA or ACCA qualification
  • QBE Considered
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • High level of accuracy and detail orientated
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A good team player and a desire to succeed
