Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team and hit the ground running. This role is essential to support our finance department, particularly in managing the purchase ledger and supplier payments during a busy period. With the holiday season approaching, we need a dedicated professional who can take charge of key accounting tasks and assist our team during this transitional phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger, including posting invoices and processing supplier payments.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with supplier statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency of accounting processes, especially as we transition after the holiday period.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger processes.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with automated accounting systems preferred.
