CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.00 - 17.00

£27,500 - £30,000 PLUS £3,000 BONUS

Are you ready to join the leading company in drinking water solutions?

If so, People Solutions are looking for a flexible Class 2 Driver to join their client's team based in Coalville.

As part of a team, you will have the opportunity to drive and operate various Class 2 vehicles, 7.5 and 3.5 Tonne vehicles.

You will be covering various routes and assisting with additional volume spikes.

Day to Day Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service with Face-to-face interaction with Customers
  • Embrace the culture by driving the behaviours and standards that reflect the company
  • Ensure scheduled water deliveries and extra delivery orders are completed on time and in full where appropriate
  • Ensure customer equipment is sanitised to contractual requirements in line with WHA guidelines and company standards
  • Record all activity at the time of completion and obtain customer signatures and authenticate completion of works with photographs
  • Conduct all operational activity in line with company standards
  • Follow minimum bottle delivery and empty collection thresholds to deliver continual improvement in cost per bottle delivered
  • Consult with the Branch Operations Manager to ensure optimum route efficiency
  • Ensure vehicle is stocked with the correct amount of product and follow defined stock control measures
  • Support various teams to address time-critical issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with warehouse tasks if required

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Experience in multi-drop deliveries
  • Flexibility in working hours and effective communication skills is essential

Desirable Experience

  • Ability to support team with decisions
  • Ability and willingness to communicate and participate within the team
  • Ability to problem solve and manage conflict within a team
  • Experience driving and operating FLTs
