They offer a good work-life balance with fair hours and excellent benefits and provide a platform for you to learn and upskill.In this role, you will work a days-based position where you will spend 80% of your time at the College's ACS Gas Centre and 20% of your time out on site visiting apprentices at their employer locations. Following the initial onboarding period, you will spend 100% of your time on-site at the College. You will speak to the apprentices and the employers to assess the progress of the apprenticeship.Training or Assessing experience is not required for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Gas industry and be Gas Safe Registered. They will be open and willing to learn and make a career change to become an Assessor.This role would suit a professional from the Gas industry who wants to give back and help the next generation of Engineers, all while reaping the benefits of working in the Education sector, such as improving your work-life balance, having career stability, receiving generous benefits and learning & developing new skills.The Role:

  • Assessing & monitoring the progress of Gas apprentices
  • Liaising with both apprentices & employers
