Hays Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant ready to join our team of teaching staff in Coalville from January 2025. We work with schools in Coalville and the surrounding area to provide essential supply staff to cover day-to-day and long-term absences. Whether you're looking for a new start in January or want to try your hand at supply - give us a call!Your new roleIn your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will play an essential role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment where children can explore, learn and grow. You will support pupils throughout the school day from getting into the classroom to delivering 1:1 teaching and learning support.You'll foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues and collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall learning experience of the young people. What you need to succeedTo be successful as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. As well as recent experience working in a school setting, you'll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support children with EHCPs or who speak English as an additional language. Ideally, you will be familiar with one or more phonics schemes and be confident supporting phonics in the classroom. Most importantly, you will be adaptable to working in different environments and confident stepping in to a new school!What you'll get in return
