Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a permanent weekend shift role in Coalville with a market-leading manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate should have at least a few years of experience in FMCG or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
A strong background in PLC fault finding (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley), as well as mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and pumps, is essential.
The role offers a competitive salary, which is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Candidates should be time-served and electrically qualified to ensure all machinery is maintained and performance is enhanced.

We are currently recruiting for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a market leading manufacturing business based in Coalville to be part of a weekend shift .

This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion and business growth.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an FMCG / Industrial maintenance based role within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with PLCs Fault finding (Mitsubishi/ Omron/ Siemens/ Allen Bradley), AC/DC Drives, Inverters is a must. Mechanical experience with Hydraulics/ Pneumatics / Motors/ pumps is also a must.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on large scale FMCG Plant to ensure production levels are maintained.

Hours Week 1 Friday Sunday 0530 1730

Week 2 Saturday Monday 0530 - 1730

Candidates will ideally be time served and Electrically qualified.

Role Description

To ensure all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition to maintain & enhance performance of all machinery .
Reduce engineering downtime, respond rapidly to machine failures & breakdowns
Undertake projects and assist with all on-site installations
To always keep open and clear lines of communication with management and fellow colleagues
To undertake, develop & improve planned maintenance schedules
To prioritise work within the engineering department & deploy resources accordingly
To identify training needs or weak spots within the department
To ensure all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition to maintain & enhance performance of all machinery within the corrugating / conversion plant

Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within a Fast pacedmanufacturing environment
Candidates must be Time Served in an electricaldiscipline
Strong working knowledge of Simens PLCs
Knowledge of Mechanical systems including Hydraulics/ Pneumatics/ Motors/ Pumps
Strong communication skills.
