Manufacturing Operative£23,000 - £25,000CoalvillePermanentHamilton Woods are currently working with a well established manufacturing business based in Coalville. As a Manufacturing Operative you will have strong level of practical ability & excellent communication skills.Duties & responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot the corrugating machine.
- Work well with others and be willing to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, and report any safety or hazard faults.
- Maintain customer quality standards, such as print coverage, color matching, and case size.
- Respond quickly to machine failures and breakdowns, and inform relevant departments.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to.
Essential skills:
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and willing to take part in problem solving and continuous improvement exercises.
- Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills.
- Reliable hardworking ethic.
