SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Buying Administrator/Merchandiser to work for a growing business in Coalville.

As the Buying Administrator/Merchandiser you will support the Packaging Purchaser with their day-to-day duties of purchasing, monitoring progress of all packaging materials & company purchasing requirements in line with critical path and key milestones in the production plan.

Your main duties will include -
- Monitor and consolidate purchase orders and daily reports onto master spreadsheets.
- Request and manage packaging artworks prior to order.
- Manage the fit of product in packaging to ensure security and efficiencies in bulk production.
- Raise orders for packaging components via manual or automated, multi-channel systems.
- Assist the technical team to supply all relevant information wash care and fibre information to external printers.
- Monitor and record packaging stock and wastage.
- Monitor and record packaging weights for all components.
- Liaise with all teams externally and internally on order progress and delivery dates. Understand the consequences of any product changes that impact on other areas in the business & communicate accordingly.
- Liaise with external partners in Turkey, China and Italy to raise and manage orders in line with key dates in the production plan.
- Assist in the development of new packaging ideas
- Present an appropriate professional image in representing the Company both on & off site.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required commensurate with the post.

You will be offered a salary up to £30,000 and work office hours Monday-Friday.
