Our client offers a range of drainage solutions to domestic, commercial, and industrial markets.
What we need from you as a HGV Drainage Engineer:
- Class 2 Driving Licence required (to be able to drive tankers)
- You must live within a 20-minute drive to the main office
- You must be willing to have DBS and Enhanced Police Check
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team while supporting other operatives or engineers
- You can confidently carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on your vehicles and equipment to ensure all is fully operational
- The job entails manual labour
What the role involves:
- Operating a drain and sewer cleaning vehicle and machinery
- Working across commercial and industrial sectors as well as residential properties
- Carry out both emergency and planned works in drain cleaning and cleansing including emptying of septic tanks and interceptors
- Working with other engineers as required to aid in other drainage tasks
- Operating a van pack jetting unit as required
Salary/package:£26,910 - £30,420 per year + overtime and on call bonus. Working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Core hours are 7.30am 4.30pm (some flexibility is needed on start/finish times). Overtime and weekend work is also available.
On call rota 1 week in 5 (Monday - Friday), however depending on number of employees this may change. You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every 5 weeks. Bank Holidays also needs to be covered; however, these are shared out between all engineers.
