We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pallet Bay Operative to join my clients team.

They are based in Coalville and the role is a full time, 12 week temporary leading to permanent

This role is a vital part of their operations, encompassing both the efficient movement of goods and the construction of high-quality pallets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pallet Construction:
    • Constructing new pallets and repairing existing ones to meet specific specifications.
    • Proficiently using power tools such as nail guns and saws to assemble pallets accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensuring all pallets are built to a high standard of quality and safety.
  • Warehouse Duties:
    • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
    • Maintaining accurate records of pallet movements and stock levels.
    • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in pallet construction and repair an advantage
  • Proficiency in using power tools, including nail guns and saws.
  • Strong understanding of healthand safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communicationand organisational skills
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance licence highly advantageous
