Position: 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary, Part Time All Available

About the Role:
As a 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child to provide tailored support, ensuring they can fully engage in the classroom environment and achieve their academic potential. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in a range of classroom activities, helping the student with their individual learning needs, and promoting their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a child within a mainstream primary classroom
Assist with lesson delivery and differentiation to meet individual learning needs
Support the student in building confidence and engaging with their peers
Help with the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
Encourage positive behaviour and assist with classroom management

Ideal Candidate:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school is essential
A relevant qualification in education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable
Must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check on the Update Service
A proactive and patient attitude with a passion for supporting children's development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
