T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our client in Coalville on a Permanent basis.

As the Mechanical Fitter, you will be involved in all areas of the mechanical assembly of the products. You will be working in a fast-paced, workshop environment and must have the ability to carry out multiple tasks at a time.

Mechanical Fitter Job Benefits:

Salary of 30,000 to 35,000 per annum with flexibility DOE

Excellent annual bonus scheme available based on NET Company profit

37.5 hours per week: - Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Additional weekly/Saturday overtime opportunities available paid at a premium rate

Mechanical Fitter Job Duties:

Installation of valves

Pipework assembly

Assembly of Pneumatic and Electrical components

Instrument piping

Instrumentation panel building

Fault finding and resolutions

Assisting with visits and inspections

Testing products

Working from engineering drawings and diagrams

Completing final inspections and quality testing

Mechanical Fitter Person Specification:

Strong experience within mechanical fitting or mechanical engineering

Proactive in your approach to problem solving

Knowledge of pipe fitting is desirable but not essential

Have a strong understanding of engineering drawings

Able to take initiative

Attention to detail

Able to work under own initiative but also a team player

Willing to learn new skills and methods
