Workshop Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic Responsibilities:

Carry out repair work on sewer tanker vehicles
Time management and planning of day-to-day activities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Liaise with customers to discuss and resolve issues
Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant safety regulations

The successful Workshop Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic will have:

HGV driving licence
Relevant Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repairs (Or equivalent)
Experience and knowledge carrying out service, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trucks
Experience in the water and wastewater industry is desirable
Good customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail

Training:

Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role, including mechanical and electrical repairs
