ROLE: Senior Property Lawyer

LOCATION: Leicestershire - hybrid

RATE: £50ph-£55ph umbrella

CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing - 17 hours a week

The responsibilities of the Senior Property Lawyer role:

  • Be responsible for providing legal advice and representation concerning commercial and residential property areas (subject to experience and relevant training) including due diligence; property transactions; regeneration projects; and compulsory purchase orders.
  • To carry out line management responsibilities in respect of the Property Legal Officer
  • Support the Head of Legal and Commercial Services to ensure legality in the Council's decision-making process and that the Council's committees

The Person:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with sound experience in Property Law
  • Property Law experience within the Public Sector is desirable
  • Someone who can work individually and as part of a team
