Production Team LeaderLocation: Coalville Hours: 6am - 6pm, 4 on/4 off shift pattern Salary: £31,000 per annum The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing Operators to maintain an efficient, safe, and environmentally compliant depot site. The role involves managing logistics, overseeing site conditions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.Duties
  • Leads and manages Operators to ensure efficient staff utilisation and engagement.
  • Assigns tasks, monitors execution, and ensures quality standards are met.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and eco-friendly work environment, adhering to the latest regulations.
  • Identifies workflow bottlenecks and implements improvements.
  • Conducts regular meetings, reviews, and assessments to support team growth.
  • Oversees on-site logistics, including loading/unloading, recycling processes, inventory, and package repair.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for customers on logistics services.
  • Introduces innovative ideas for cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Ensures optimal performance of site machinery and coordinates with Maintenance Engineers to address issues.
  • Tracks key performance indicators and provides timely updates to the Depot Manager.
The Candidate
  • Vocational training and experience in logistics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proven experience in people management.
