Role & Responsibilities; Deputy Shift Manager

  • To support the shift manager in leading the shift team
  • To maintain, repair and support the equipment
  • To undertake scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations
  • Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults
  • Prioritise system faults
  • To accurately record all work undertaken
  • Continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
  • Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
  • Adherence to the Quality processes and procedures

Qualifications;Maintenance Deputy Shift Manager

  • ONC OR HNCin Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship or Bscor Msc)
  • Experience in previously managing a team (desirable)
  • A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
  • Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
