This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of European haulage operations across 8 UK branches for a leading logistics company.You will be responsible for growing and developing new transport/haulage business opportunities while maintaining and improving existing services. This is an operational and commercial role, requiring expertise in cost-effective transport solutions, supplier negotiations, and customs clearance procedures.Key Responsibilities:" Manage European Freight Operations: Process orders, book deliveries, and arrange transport at competitive rates." Negotiate & Build Relationships: Develop strong partnerships with haulage providers, negotiating advantageous rates." Customs Compliance & Documentation: Work closely with the customs team to ensure smooth import/export processes." Process & Reporting: Chase PODs, handle invoices, update internal systems, and provide KPI reports." Problem-Solving & Customer Service: Investigate delivery issues, implement preventative actions, and maintain excellent communication with stakeholders."
