Are you an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? We are working with a reputable, established manufacturer who are experiencing strong growth. In order to help continue this upward trend, they are looking to improve their Quality function. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality processes are to the highest standard across the business by working alongside internal departments. Experience of working within a precision machining, fabrication, or plant machinery background would be an advantage.

Salary & Hours:Competitive salary + bonus in place. Flexible hours around core days. 25 days holiday + banks.

This Quality Manager job will suit:

  • Proven experience within a Quality Management role who can maintain and develop the quality systems.
  • Preferably come from a machining, castings, or fabrication background. Someone who understands or can appreciate the manufacturing process.
  • Expert knowledge in the application of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), problem resolution techniques and improvement tools essential.
  • Strong auditing experience and someone who is very process driven. Someone with a hands on approach to improving quality.
  • Have an understanding of more advanced quality tools & techniques e.g DFMEA, PPAP etc.

  • Problem Investigation, corrective and preventative actions supported through to implementation / resolution.
  • Work Closely with Engineering, Operations, Aftermarket teams and Suppliers to ensure site quality / delivery issues are clearly defined, quantified, root cause established, and effective corrective actions taken.
  • Be the focal point of all site quality issues from engineering, through supply chain and operations and aftermarkets.
  • Manage key suppliers / SQE teams to ensure issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner and ongoing performance is improved.
  • Support PPAP activities and implement TQM processes across the business.
