Transport & Logistics Planner - Next-Day Delivery Operation

Location: CoalvilleSalary: Up to £35,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Transport Planner to join our fast-paced manufacturing site in Coalville. This is a critical role in ensuring the success of our next-day delivery service, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of transport operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient transport schedules to meet next-day delivery deadlines.
• Manage operational challenges, adjusting plans swiftly to minimize disruptions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with drivers' hours regulations, tachograph usage, and transport legislation.
• Work closely with drivers, internal teams, and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze and optimize transport operations for cost efficiency and improved performance.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport planning, ideally in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
• Strong knowledge of drivers' hours laws, tachograph regulations, and transport compliance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Clear and concise communication skills, with a team-focused approach.
