We are currently recruiting for a temporary Project Worker to join a housing association in the East Midlands. This role will aim to provide support to the venerable.Job title: Project Worker Location: whetstone Hours: 35 hours a weekHourly rate: £19hr via umbrella The Project Worker will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out pre-tenancy interviews
  • Promoting independence with all customers
  • Be first point of contact for tenants
  • Arrange any repairs and monitor quality in all schemes
  • Complete health and safety, fire safety assessments
  • Advice tenants with money management/benefit issues
The ideal Project Worker will have to be:
  • From a supported housing background or previous experience
  • Good communication and leadership skills. Be able to show compassion and support to the venerable
  • Experience in helping people apply for benefits to maximise their income
  • This role requires a basic DBS clearance
