SEN Specialist Support Assistant - Primary School - Notting Hill

We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated SEN Specialist Support Assistant to join a well-respected primary school in Notting Hill starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with additional needs, making a meaningful impact in a nurturing and inclusive environment.



About the role:

  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom
  • Collaborating with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver personalised learning plans
  • Supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils


About you:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN essential
  • Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective support strategies
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • A proactive team player with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being
