Steel Fabricator / welder
Due to expansion and growth permanent positions have arisen forWelder/ Fabricators. . Please note that the main base for this role will be North Lanarkshire (Temp - Perm)
Rate of Pay -Days£21 per hour - + Overtime (Dependant on experience)
Pay Model:CIS / Umbrella
Primary Objectives
Welding and fabrication in workshop
Working knowledge of
Primary & secondary steel fabrication works and standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality. structural fabrication works and standards.
Act with honesty, integrity and accountability
Ability to work well in a team
Qualifications and Experience Requirements :
An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication preferred but not essential at least 4 years experience in the above role.
Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include:
Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)
Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG)
Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding
Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
Experienced working with a variety of materials to include mild steel, austenitic stainless steel and aluminium.
