We are recruiting for a small family-run factory currently searching for a new employee to work on the shop-floor. The key requirements of the role will be to operate moulding, punching and DXF bed machinery. Beyond this the employee will be required to help in areas of the factory as required. Examples of other areas include Material preparation, finishing and packing.
We are looking for candidates who can learn basic machine operating techniques whilst learning how to maintain machines and minimise downtime. Candidates with a basic engineering background would find this beneficial to the role. As an employer we will provide full on-the-job-training.

Basic Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic machine operating.
Operation of different production equipment.
Trimming and item finishing
Inspection
Packaging
Uses of hand tools.
To maintain good housekeeping in your area.
To work within H&S guidelines.
Allocation of resources (following training)
Tool changes (following training).
Adjustment of machine set-up (following training).
Maintenance of machines (following training)
Skills and Qualifications:
Computer Literate
A basic engineering knowledge.
The ability to learn different machine operating techniques.
A keen eye and attention to detail.
The ability to work as a team or using your own initiative.
