Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Operator with our client's well-known production and manufacturing facility in North Lanarkshire!

What's on offer? A full-time permanent position, earning 28,740 per annum, with the option of day or back shift:

  • Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 4.45pm - with an early Friday finish
  • OR
  • Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm to 11pm

As a Machine Operator, you'd need to have previous production and labelling experience; a keen eye for detail, and a high level of reliability and punctuality.

Your duties as a Machine Operator will include:

  • Hand packing products at a fast pace
  • Quality checking each product, including high-end products
  • Operating machinery to ensure smooth performance
  • Performing product changeovers

Machine Operator skills and requirements:

  • Previous experience of labelling, ideally within the drinks industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently using your initiative
  • Experience of working within a production environment (working within the spirits industry would be a distinct advantage)
  • The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in-line with company requirements
  • The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively
