SRG are delighted to be engaged again by an early stage chemicals research & manufacturing company to help in their search for a senior laboratory support technician to work in their new labs based in Biocity in Coatbridge.

This company have undergone massive growth, both financially and in their people over the past 2 years and have now expanded into new laboratories to house their synthetic chemistry team and are looking for a senior laboratory support technician to support this lab environment.

The role

As senior lab support technician you will work closely with the lead chemist & laboratory manager to ensure the maintenance of chemical stock, equipment, glassware and documentation. This will include a wider variety of responsibilities including;

  • Lab equipment servicing
  • Chemical Stock & Stores Management
  • Assisting with purchasing
  • Managing receipt of goods

The right person

  • Educated to HNC level or above in chemistry, or related
  • Prior experience in a chemicals laboratory
  • Demonstrable knowledge of lab safety
