CNC Turner required to join a leading subcontractor specializing in high-precision fabrication and machining services. This company serve a diverse range of industries including automotive, oil & gas, and heavy equipment. They are looking for a CNC turner that has experience with Programming setting and Operating Fanuc controlled machines.
CNC Turner Job Overview
- Program Set and Operate Fanuc controlled CNC Lathes
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to optimize performance and ensure tight tolerances.
- Conduct regular inspections of produced parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
- Maintain accurate records of setups, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed.
CNC Turner Job Requirements
- Previous CNC turning experience - Programming setting and Operating Fanuc controlled machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with various materials
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
CNC Turner Salary & Benefits
- Full time - Permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 39 hour week (early finish on Friday)
- Salary - 15 - 18 per hour (depending on experience)
- Competitive annual leave
