SRG are delighted to be working with a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire who are looking to add an electrician/electrical engineer to their maintenance team.

The company design and manufacture parts for the aerospace and defence sectors and are undergoing a sustained period of growth.

The role

As an electrical maintenance engineer your primary responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance of production machinery & equipment, carrying out fault finding & repair tasks on a wide variety of electrical machinery. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure down-time is kept to an absolute minimum on the company's high volume production facility. The position comes with the below shift pattern;

Mon - 07.45-16.15

Tue - 07.45-16.15

Wed - 07.45-16.15

Thu - 07.45-16.15

Fri - 07.45-12.45

The right candidate

  • Electrically certified is desirable
  • Demonstrable experience in fault finding and equipment repair
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience on hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical equipment is desirable
