Reporting to HR Shared Service Manager
Reed is working with a global healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing company that are seeking an experienced HR Co-ordinator to join their HR Shared Services team.
This role involves managing the ‘Time & Attendance’ function and maintaining/updating HR systems.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in operational HR that is looking to join a global company and develop their career.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Provide first-level employee relations advice on maternity rights, grievance, disciplinary, holiday entitlements, sickness, and absence.
- Identify more complex cases and escalate promptly as necessary.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, from preparing paperwork to ensuring seamless integration.
- Facilitate communications between HR department and staff, including setting up onboarding discussions and exit interviews.
- Maintain strict control over access to personnel data and ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
- Monitor and control approvals of overtime and absence, inputting annual leave and absence into the T&A system.
- Calculate and control sickness absence payments.
- Maintain and update HR and ‘Time & Attendance’ systems for all team members.
- Utilize Workday and ProMark to process data, system, and documentation changes.
- Train and maintain standards for a back up HR Co-ordinator to cover duties in absence.
- Produce and distribute the Service Centre Labour Cost Report.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar HR role, dealing with systems and providing HR support.
- Strong technical aptitude and expertise in HRIS systems (ideally Workday and ProMark).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Good communication skills, capable of handling sensitive personnel conversations.
- Intermediate to advanced numeracy skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
