The Role:

Our client is expanding their services and client workload, creating an exciting opportunity for a CAD Techniain to join a progressive and friendly team. This role offers valuable insight into specialist sub-contracting, manufacturing, and the delivery of steelwork across various sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, rail, buildings, and energy markets. The position is diverse and interesting, forming part of a larger operational team focused on 'one team delivery.' Projects and clients vary, as do the daily tasks and roles required.

The Person:

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the delivery team, ensuring the safe and consistent delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role will both complement and enhance the existing Project team, which provides steel solutions to a wide range of market sectors and clients. There is also the prospect of hybrid working.

Skills & Experience:

  • Essential experience with TEKLA.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects within the defence, power, oil & gas, and nuclear environments.
  • Preferred experience in fabrication.
  • Ability to work effectively in partnership with the Project team.
  • Experience working in association with a fabrication shop.
  • Competence in assessing project specifications to ensure compliance with end products.
  • Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks on time and to specification.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical staff.
