They have a rang of projects across multiple defence companies and they are looking to add to their growing team.In this varied role, you will work with design and production teams to convert customer needs into effective shop floor instructions and tackle production issues to enhance quality and efficiency. You'll implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, lead improvement projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and liaise with certification bodies and stakeholders as necessary.This role would suit a Junior Candidate or Graduate looking for a Manufacturing Engineer position with a growing global leader in marine doors and hardware, offering training, a range of company benefits, and a great work-life balance.The Role:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Liaising with Design/Production/Suppliers/Clients
- Creating drawings using AutoCAD or Solidworks
- Monday to Friday - early finish Friday
The Person:
- Manufacturing Engineer or similar
- Background in AutoCAD or Solidworks
- Commutable to Coatbridge
