Job

The role of Payroll Supervisor will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Ensuring accurate payroll processing within set deadlines
  • Overseeing the administration of payroll elements including tax, NI, and statutory payments
  • Conducting internal audits for payment accuracy
  • Maintaining up-to-date employee records in collaboration with HR
  • Adhering to GDPR regulations
  • Submitting pension contribution files
  • Managing the year-end processes
  • Query resolution and advising on payroll tax rules
  • Preparing payroll reports and P11D submissions
  • Supporting and developing the Payroll/Accounts Assistant

You

As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and auto enrolment
  • Strong understanding of HMRC requirements and UK payroll tax rules
  • Experience in payroll auditing and reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Iris Earnie payroll software (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills for handling queries and providing guidance
  • GDPR compliance awareness
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
