First Achieve's Engineering Division is seeking a Quality Inspector for a growing international manufacturer in the Glasgow region, specializing in Marine products.
The position offers a salary of £16/hr through the agency, transitioning to £14-£14.50/hr upon permanent employment after a 12-week temp period.
Candidates must have experience in an industrial environment, mechanical assembly, or welding, as well as the ability to read engineering drawings.
The role involves inspecting final products, including welds and assembly, and requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills.
This full-time position features a 39-hour work week with a schedule of Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm and Friday from 7am to 12pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x.

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.

What's on Offer:

Temp to perm after 12 weeks

7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.

Duties will involve the following:

inspection of quality of final products including welds and assembly
reading design and assembly drawings
interpersonal, organisational and managerial skills

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must have:

experience of working in an industrial environment
basic experience in mechanical assembly and/or welding
experience of reading engineering drawings
