Job Description:

We have been engaged by a reputable and long-standing national contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an additional QUANTITY SURVEYORto join their team on a permanent basis.

The business typically delivers steel framed building projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales.
  • Identify variations communicate to clients and obtain cost approval.
  • Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents.
  • Produce P&L reports for all projects.
  • Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree Qualified QUANTITY SURVEYOR (minimum 2 years post qualification experience)
  • Specialist sub-contracting experience desirable
  • NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use.
  • Ability to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Contract / project management ability.
  • Commercial acumen, pre and post contract
  • Change control management.
  • Project cost value reconciliation, risk management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
