Job Description:
We have been engaged by a reputable and long-standing national contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an additional QUANTITY SURVEYORto join their team on a permanent basis.
The business typically delivers steel framed building projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales.
- Identify variations communicate to clients and obtain cost approval.
- Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents.
- Produce P&L reports for all projects.
- Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures
Essential Criteria:
- Degree Qualified QUANTITY SURVEYOR (minimum 2 years post qualification experience)
- Specialist sub-contracting experience desirable
- NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use.
- Ability to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Contract / project management ability.
- Commercial acumen, pre and post contract
- Change control management.
- Project cost value reconciliation, risk management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Full UK Drivers Licence
