Role Overview

An advanced manufacturing company are looking for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their maintenance team in Coatbridge.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring that all plant, production equipment, site services, and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of equipment.
  • Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime of production machinery and site services.
  • Complete routine maintenance schedules on time, every time.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure project completion within deadlines.
  • Continually enhance current factory installations, including equipment, plant, and lighting.
  • Provide support to fellow maintenance team members and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Fully qualified electrician
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations

Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 year's experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical engineering background

Desirable:

  • Experience with controls and PLC systems
