Audit Senior/Assistant Manager Ambition are working with an international firm of Chartered Accountants that are looking to hire an Audit Senior/Audit Assistant Manager for their team.You will work with an exciting range of clients that range from SME's to larger complex groups. Sectors include tech, luxury retail, motorsport and the arts!The firm's approach is to provide a high-quality service and proactive advice to clients and in order to achieve this all teams work together collaboratively. You will benefit from a good work life balance and flexible working.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding, mentoring and delegating work to junior members of staff
  • Working closely with managers and directors on audit risk assessments and planning.
  • Ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of audit assignments.
  • Guiding and supporting junior staff, both on-site and off-site.
  • Liaising with clients during the planning, fieldwork, and completion phases of audits.
  • Providing training and development of ACA students and the staff review process.

Requirements:

  • ACA ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Statutory audit and accounts preparation experience
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of FRS 102 & ISAs (knowledge of IFRS is a plus)
