My client are seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to support our manufacturing company based in Chessington. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in customer service and can efficiently manage a backlog of work. The successful candidate will be joining a small, dedicated team and will play a crucial role in liaising with customers to ensure smooth operations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and support.
- Manage and respond to customer emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Update and maintain customer records in the company database.
- Assist with the processing of orders and tracking of deliveries.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Help manage the backlog of work, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and company objectives.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
