Credit Controller

  • Hourly rate: £13.85- £17.95 per hour PAYE (dependent on experience) or £17.13- £22.38 via an umbrella company.
  • Location: Leatherhead- 100% office based 
  • Job Type: Temporary until the end of the year with the potential to extend
  • Hours: 37.5 per week (flexible on the hours worked between 07.30- 17.30)

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension. This role is crucial for managing B2B collections efficiently. Our ideal candidate is someone who is highly organised, proficient with computers, and possesses excellent communication skills. Experience with HubSpot and Xero is highly beneficial.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and recover debts from business customers efficiently.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear and payments are made promptly.
  • Address and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Update customer records in the company’s accounting systems, including Asana, Xero, HubSpot, and SharePoint.
  • Provide timely feedback to the management regarding financial transactions and status.
  • Work flexibly between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with the possibility to adjust hours based on personal commitments, such as family responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly yet persuasive manner.
  • Proficiency in using computer software such as Asana, Xero, HubSpot, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in a credit control or similar role, particularly within a B2B environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work hours and able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
