Accounts Manager – Outsourced Business Services?? Location: Leatherhead?? Full-Time | Hybrid Working | Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to step away from audit while still working with complex financial reporting? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative Outsourced Business Services team as an Accounts Manager.

In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of medium to large corporate clients, providing expert accounting and corporate reporting services. You’ll work closely with Partners, Directors, and audit teams, contributing to the firm’s reputation as a centre of excellence for financial reporting.

This is an ideal role for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys client-facing responsibilities and is looking to develop their leadership skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ?? Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients with complex financial reporting needs
  • ?? Oversee the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS
  • ?? Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure smooth processes
  • ?? Provide technical accounting advice and guidance to clients
  • ?? Lead transition projects including revenue recognition and lease accounting
  • ?? Draft technical reports and memorandums on complex accounting issues
  • ???�? Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth
  • ?? Drive client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
  • ?? Manage WIP, billing, and overall financials for your client portfolio
About You:
  • ? ACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • ? Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • ? Experience in corporate financial reporting and group consolidations
  • ? Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a client-focused approach
  • ? Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • ? Experience in a Top 10 or Big 4 firm is desirable but not essential
  • ? Proficiency in Excel and Caseware is a plus
