Are you an experienced Audit Manager looking for an exciting new challenge in a leading chartered accountancy firm? The Role

As an Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, ensuring high-quality audit services while managing and mentoring a team of auditors. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position within a collaborative and supportive firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead audit engagements from planning to completion for a variety of clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
  • Develop strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and providing proactive business advice.
  • Review audit files, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality work.
  • Manage audit teams, including coaching and mentoring junior staff to support their development.
  • Assist in business development activities, including networking and identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s client base.
  • Work closely with partners and directors to support the firm's growth and service delivery.
About You:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in external audit within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage audit teams and develop staff.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple audit engagements and meeting deadlines.
