A dynamic and growing accountancy practice based in Cobham is seeking a talented and qualified Tax Senior/Manager to join their team. If you're an experienced professional with a passion for tax, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Tax Senior/Manager, you will report directly to the Partners and be responsible for the compliance needs of a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients. You’ll manage a mixed tax workload with a focus on both Corporate Tax (CT) and Personal Tax (60:40 split), while having the opportunity to get involved in a range of exciting and complex tax areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Self-Assessment, Partnership, and Corporate Tax returns
  • Manage a varied tax portfolio including CT and Personal Tax, with a focus on a mix of clients
  • Work on specialist tax areas such as R&D claims, EIS, SEIS, EMI schemes, and residency queries
  • Supervise and mentor a Trainee Tax Junior, supporting their development
  • Build strong client relationships and offer proactive tax advice
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA, ACCA, AAT, ATT, CTA qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
  • Proven experience in both Corporate and Personal Tax
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to handle a range of tax issues
  • Experience in managing a team or mentoring junior staff is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
