This Financial Adviser job provides opportunity to join a growing IFA firm, actively undertaking acquisitions. They are seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join their team to onboard and takeover recently acquired clients and help the business grow.
The business has undertaken two acquisitions recently and are ready to go through the handover process with you. Your aim is to establish excellent rapport and understand their current and future needs. Your priority is on retention of client and identifying new business opportunities where possible.
The first client meetings will be in-person to enable you to build the strongest rapport, thereafter it will typically alternate between in-person and remote meetings.
Alongside the acquired clients you will be taking over, our client is seeking a Financial Adviser who can bring some clients of circa £5m+ FuM
You will receive back office support from their support team consisting of Paraplanners and Administrators
Financial Adviser Requirements
- You must hold full Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
- You must be a current Financial Adviser, confident in taking over and retaining acquired clients
- You should be able to bring / generate circa £5m+ of FuM
- This role will involve a reasonable level of travelling during the early, integration phase, which you should be comfortable with
The Company
This long established financial planning firm of nearly 30 years has recently undergone new management as a result of a recent acquisition. The new owners are looking to build on the strong foundations already laid out and develop the service offering to new and existing clients. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity to join as they enter their next chapter
Financial Adviser Benefits
- Salary in the region of £60,000 (+/-) with bonus structure
- The business is currently developing the remuneration, but would be happy to include mileage reimbursement at good rates or car allowance
- Alternatively, happy to consider self-employed option
- Mixture of working location with travel to see clients, working from home and visits to their offices

- Hertfordshire (such as Rickmansworth)
- Surrey (such as Weybridge / Epsom area)
- Kent (such as Sevenoaks)
