Job specification:

  • Offering administrative support for supporter-led events and fundraising.
  • Supporting the organisation of events with administrative tasks.
  • Keeping all fundraising records current and accurate.
  • Undertaking ad hoc fundraising tasks, such as researching new opportunities and fulfilling special requests.
  • Assisting with additional fundraising or office administrative duties as directed by the Head of Fundraising, Events Fundraising Manager, and Community Fundraising Manager.
  • Providing extra support for events when required.
  • Attending and assisting at selected fundraising and awareness events throughout the year.

Person specification:

  • Minimum of GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Reliable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Organised with effective time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with the charity’s supporters.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • A helpful attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Understanding of the sensitive nature of the organisation.

Additional Information:

  • Additional half day of annual leave for each full 12 months of service.
  • Reporting to Community Fundraising Manager.
  • Operates a limited flexi-time policy
  • Full time - 40 hours per week.
