ESTIMATOR - HYBRID WORKING
Mon-Fri Hours of work: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Cobham, Surrey and remote
Salary: £45- £70k DOE plus company car
Our client is an award-winning landscaping and civil engineering specialist delivering high quality projects throughout the UK, working in all sectors from local authorities, developers, schools, parks to high-end luxury developers.
The position will involve working with the Commercial Director preparing and submitting Tender Packages from £100k up to £5million.
The projects working as the Main Contractor on a mixture of high quality hard and soft landscaping schemes. As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience in an estimating role with the ability to work in a methodical manner, under time restraints whilst maintaining highly accurate attention to detail.
The Role:
Measuring PDF drawings and producing tender documents.
Helping the full Bid Submission
Pricing bill of quantities, generally in excel format
Identifying areas of risk during the tender process and liaising with the company Directors
Attending meetings and site visits
Communicating with the client and design team during the tender process and pre-start meetings
What We Are Looking For:
Estimating experience within the landscape/construction industry
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with a positive attitude towards new and existing challenges
Clear and concise communication qualities including excellent verbal and written communication Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
Able to multi task, prioritise, manage time effectively, use own initiative
