This is an interesting role, as 2 days of the week you will be doing the Accounting and 3 days a week on Administration, so this role is really varied.

Working Hours

3 days you will start at 8 - 5pm

2 days you have flexibility to start earlier or later and finish later as long as core hours are covered, so to give you an example, you could do 8-5pm, or 7-4pm, or 9-6pm

Hybrid is avilable - on a request basis with Line Manager after training.

FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN

Main Duties

To assist the Ground Rents team in billing, collecting and recording ground rent

  • To deal with queries from leaseholders by phone and email
  • Take card payments using Sagepay
  • To post cash on leaseholder accounts
  • To manage mail out of demands, reminder letters etc.
  • Dealing with Managing Agents, Solicitors and Operating Companies
  • Dealing with the assigning of leases and queries from Solicitors
  • Preparing and uploading newly completed units to the system

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

A proactive, driven person with common sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively

  • Good level of IT skills and a credit control knowledge
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Communication (written and verbal), negotiation and problem solving skills

Annual Leave

Initially 22 Days plus 3 Days for the Christmas Period

  • A Day is added each year for the next three years, so at 5 years service you would have 25 Days Annual Leave plus 3 Days for the Christmas Period
