Job Description:

  • Overseeing and growing the trust fundraising program.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with new trusts and potential sponsors.
  • Managing administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records of trust applications and sponsor inquiries.
  • Conducting research and engaging with organisations interested in partnering, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Identifying and exploring new funding opportunities to support the charity's growth.
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Developing and managing budgets, sponsorship packages, and pricing strategies.
  • Representing the charity at selected events throughout the year.
  • Assisting with additional tasks where required.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in writing applications, bids, reports, and strategy papers for diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of leading negotiations with external stakeholders.
  • Happy to occasionally travel.
  • Research skills to identify new opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable in a growing organisation.
  • Ability to work independently and persistently raise funds for the charity.
  • Strong communication skills (telephone, written, and spoken) with excellent administrative attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and workload flexibly.
  • Creative thinker in identifying new funding opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to adapt to new systems.
